1 Swiss authorities may not address to another State requests which they themselves could not grant under this Act.
2 The Federal Office is competent for requests for extradition, transfer of proceedings or execution of criminal judgments; it shall take action at the request of the cantonal authority.
3 Conditions which the requested State attaches to the execution of the request must be observed by the Swiss authorities.
4 The Federal Office may decline to make a request if the importance of the offence does not justify the proceedings.
1 Le autorità svizzere non possono presentare a uno Stato estero domande cui esse non potrebbero dar seguito giusta la presente legge.
2 Per le domande di estradizione o di assunzione del perseguimento penale o dell’esecuzione è competente l’Ufficio federale; esso opera a richiesta dell’autorità cantonale.
3 Le condizioni cui lo Stato richiesto subordina l’esecuzione della domanda devono essere osservate dalle autorità svizzere.
4 L’Ufficio federale può prescindere dalla domanda se l’importanza del reato non giustifica l’attuazione del procedimento.
