Art. 31 Costs

1 As a rule, foreign requests shall be executed free of charge.

2 The Federal Council shall determine the conditions under which the requesting State may be charged full or partial costs.

3 The costs of a Swiss request that are reimbursed to another State shall be charged to the proceedings that caused the request to be made.

4 The Federal Council shall regulate the sharing of costs between the Confederation and the cantons.

Art. 31 Spese

1 Di regola, le domande estere sono eseguite gratuitamente.

2 Il Consiglio federale determina a quali condizioni le spese possono essere accollate in tutto od in parte allo Stato richiedente.

3 Le spese per una domanda svizzera rimborsate a uno Stato estero sono a carico del procedimento che ha occasionato la domanda.

4 Il Consiglio federale disciplina la ripartizione delle spese tra Confederazione e Cantoni.
