810.21 Federal Act of 8 October 2004 on the Transplantation of Organs, Tissues and Cells (Transplantation Act)
Art. 37 Principio e divieti
1 Il momento e il metodo di interruzione della gravidanza sono scelti indipendentemente dal successivo trapianto di tessuti o cellule embrionali o fetali umani.
2 È vietato:
- a.
- mantenere artificialmente in vita embrioni soprannumerari dopo il settimo giorno del loro sviluppo, embrioni abortiti o feti interi per prelevarne tessuti o cellule a scopo di trapianto;
- b.
- effettuare trapianti di tessuti o cellule embrionali o fetali su una persona designata dalla donna donatrice;
- c.
- utilizzare a scopo di trapianto tessuti o cellule embrionali o fetali di donne incapaci di discernimento.
Art. 37 Principles and prohibitions
1 The time and method of a termination of pregnancy must be selected independently of subsequent transplantation of embryonic or foetal human tissues or cells.
2 It is prohibited:
- a.
- to keep superfluous embryos alive artificially after the seventh day of development or to keep aborted embryos or intact foetuses alive artificially for the purpose of remove tissues or cells from them for transplantation;
- b.
- to transplant embryonic or foetal tissues or cells into a person designated for this purpose by the donor;
- c.
- to use embryonic or foetal tissues or cells from women who are incapable of judgement for transplantation purposes.
