Art. 9 Obligation to pay a fee

1 Manufacturers who supply empty glass beverage containers for use within Switzerland and importers who import such containers must pay in respect of these a disposal fee (the «fee») to an organisation (the «Fee Organisation») appointed by the Federal Office for the Environment (the FOEN)3.

2 The obligation to pay a fee also applies to importers who import filled glass beverage containers.

3 No fee is payable by:

a.
manufacturers and importers who supply or import beverage containers with a capacity of less than 0.09 litres;
b.
manufacturers and importers who supply or import fewer than 1,000 beverage containers per half calendar year.

3 The name of this administrative unit was changed in application of Art. 16 para. 3 of the Publications Ordinance of 17 Nov. 2004 (SR 170.512.1). This change has been made throughout the text.

Art. 9 Obbligo della tassa

1 I produttori che consegnano imballaggi per bevande in vetro vuoti destinati all’impiego in Svizzera e gli importatori che importano tali imballaggi sono tenuti a versare per essi una tassa di smaltimento anticipata (tassa) a un’organizzazione (organizzazione) incaricata dall’ Ufficio federale dell’ambiente (UFAM)3.

2 L’obbligo della tassa si applica anche agli importatori che importano imballaggi per bevande in vetro pieni.

3 Non devono versare alcuna tassa:

a.
i produttori e importatori che consegnano o importano imballaggi per bevande con un volume di riempimento inferiore a 0,09 l;
b.
i produttori e importatori che consegnano o importano meno di 1000 imballaggi per bevande per semestre civile.

3 La designazione dell’unità amministrativa è stata adattata in applicazione dell’art. 16 cpv. 3 dell’O del 17 nov. 2004 sulle pubblicazioni (RS 170.512.1). Di detta modifica è stato tenuto conto in tutto il presente testo.
