Art. 57 Storage

1 When substances and preparations are stored, the information and instructions given on the package and labelling and, if applicable, in the safety data sheet must be taken into account.

2 Dangerous substances and preparations and their containers must be protected against hazardous, especially mechanical, impacts.

3 Dangerous substances and preparations must be clearly identifiable and kept separate from other goods. No foodstuffs, animal feedingstuffs or therapeutic products may be kept in the immediate vicinity.

4 Paragraphs 1–3 also apply to objects from which substances or preparations are released in quantities that may endanger human health or the environment.

5 Substances and preparations that may react dangerously with each other must be stored separately.

6 Dangerous substances and preparations may only be filled into and stored in containers which meet the following requirements:

a.
They must not be capable of being confused with packaging containing foodstuffs, cosmetics, therapeutic products or animal feedingstuffs.
b.
The name of the substance or preparation must be given in the labelling of the containers.
c.
They must comply with the requirements of Article 35 paragraphs 1 and 3 of the CLP Regulation111.
d.
Their design must not be likely to attract or arouse the curiosity of children.

Art. 57 Conservazione

1 Per la conservazione di sostanze e preparati devono essere rispettate le indicazioni che figurano sull’imballaggio, sull’etichetta ed eventualmente sulla scheda di dati di sicurezza.

2 Le sostanze e i preparati pericolosi, nonché i loro contenitori, devono essere protetti da effetti pericolosi, in particolare di tipo meccanico.

3 Le sostanze e i preparati pericolosi devono essere conservati in maniera ordinata e separandoli dall’altra merce. È proibito depositare derrate alimentari, alimenti per animali o agenti terapeutici nelle immediate vicinanze di tali sostanze e preparati.

4 I capoversi 1–3 si applicano anche agli oggetti da cui sono emessi sostanze o preparati in quantità tali che potrebbero mettere in pericolo l’essere umano o l’ambiente.

5 Le sostanze e i preparati che, combinandosi, possono causare reazioni pericolose devono essere conservati separatamente.

6 Le sostanze e i preparati pericolosi possono essere travasati e conservati soltanto in contenitori che adempiono i seguenti requisiti:

a.
non devono poter essere confusi con imballaggi di derrate alimentari, prodotti cosmetici, agenti terapeutici o alimenti per animali;
b.
il nome della sostanza o del preparato deve essere indicato nell’etichettatura del contenitore;
c.
devono essere conformi ai requisiti secondo l’articolo 35 paragrafi 1 e 3 del regolamento UE-CLP112;
d.
devono avere una aspetto tale da non risvegliare o incoraggiare la curiosità dei bambini.
