Art. 38 Quorum

The President shall verify whether the Council is quorate:

a.
before elections, votes on entire bills and final votes as well as votes on provisions that require the approval of a majority of the members of the Council in accordance with Article 159 paragraph 3 of the Federal Constitution41 in order to be accepted;
b.
at the proposal of a member of the Council.

Art. 38 Numero legale

Il presidente accerta se la Camera è in numero legale:

a.
prima che si proceda ad elezioni, votazioni sul complesso o votazioni finali nonché a votazioni per cui è richiesto il consenso della maggioranza dei deputati conformemente all’articolo 159 capoverso 3 della Costituzione federale41;
b.
a richiesta di un deputato.
