Art. 30 Coordination, information and advice

(Art. 26 para. 3 and 27a para. 2 ForA)

1 The FOEN shall establish the principles for the prevention and remediation of forest damage. It shall coordinate the cross-cantonal measures and where necessary shall itself establish such measures.

2 The Swiss Federal Institute for Forest, Snow and Landscape Research (WSL) has the following tasks:

a.
it organises, together with the cantonal forestry services, the collection of data of relevance to forest protection;
b.
it provides information about the occurrence of harmful organisms and other factors that may damage the forest;
c.
it advises the cantonal forestry services in matters of forest protection.

Art. 30 Compétences de la Confédération

(art. 26, al. 3, et 27a, al. 2)

1 L’OFEV pourvoit aux bases permettant la prévention et la réparation des dégâts aux forêts. Il coordonne les mesures de portée supracantonale et en définit au besoin.

2 L’Institut fédéral de recherches sur la forêt, la neige et le paysage (WSL) accomplit les tâches suivantes, dans le cadre de sa mission de base:

a.
il organise avec les services forestiers cantonaux le relevé de données importantes pour la protection de la forêt;
b.
il informe de l’apparition d’organismes nuisibles et d’autres facteurs pouvant nuire à la forêt;
c.
il conseille les services forestiers cantonaux et fédéraux en matière de protection des forêts.
