Art. 1005 b. Guarantee function

1 Unless the bill contains a comment to the contrary, the endorser is liable for acceptance and payment.

2 He may forbid further endorsement of the bill; in this case he is not liable to persons to whom the bill is further endorsed.

Art. 1002 2. Éléments

1 L’endossement doit être pur et simple. Toute condition à laquelle il est subordonné est réputée non écrite.

2 L’endossement partiel est nul.

3 L’endossement au porteur vaut comme endossement en blanc.
