In cases referred to in the final clause of Article 5 paragraph 1 letter g, the FOEN may, as part of the checks that it performs in accordance with Article 15 paragraph 2, request the Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office to provide it with information from the FA-CITES information system pursuant to Article 21 of the Federal Act of 16 March 20124 on the Trade in Protected Animal and Plant Species.
Das BAFU kann im Rahmen seiner Kontrolle nach Artikel 15 Absatz 2 vom Bundesamt für Lebensmittelsicherheit und Veterinärwesen in Fällen nach Artikel 5 Absatz 1 Buchstabe g letzter Satzteil Auskunft aus dem Informationssystem nach Artikel 21 des Bundesgesetzes vom 16. März 20124 über den Verkehr mit Tieren und Pflanzen geschützter Arten verlangen.
