1 The customs authorities provide Swissmedic with information on the import, export and transit of devices.
2 Swissmedic may mandate the customs authorities to detain devices for further inspection and to obtain samples.
3 It may provide the customs authorities with information about ongoing or concluded administrative or criminal proceedings and sanctions in connection with market surveillance.130

1 Die Zollbehörden erteilen der Swissmedic Auskünfte über die Einfuhr, die Ausfuhr und die Durchfuhr von Produkten.
2 Die Swissmedic kann die Zollbehörden beauftragen, Produkte zur weiteren Abklärung anzuhalten und Probematerial zu beschaffen.
3 Sie kann den Zollbehörden Informationen über laufende oder abgeschlossene administrative oder strafrechtliche Verfolgungen und Sanktionen im Rahmen der Marktüberwachung mitteilen.130
