1 Finanzdienstleister informieren ihre Kundinnen und Kunden vor Abschluss des Vertrags oder vor Erbringen der Dienstleistung.
2 Die Finanzdienstleister stellen ihren Privatkundinnen und -kunden das Basisinformationsblatt vor der Zeichnung oder vor dem Vertragsabschluss kostenlos zur Verfügung. Erfolgt eine Beratung unter Abwesenden, kann das Basisinformationsblatt mit Zustimmung der Kundin oder des Kunden nach Abschluss des Geschäfts zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Die Finanzdienstleister dokumentieren diese Zustimmung.
3 Die Informationen können den Kundinnen und Kunden in standardisierter Form auf Papier oder elektronisch zur Verfügung gestellt werden.
1 Financial service providers shall inform their clients before the signing of the contract or provision of the service.
2 Financial service providers shall make the key information document available free of charge to their retail clients before the signing or conclusion of the contract. Where consultation takes place without the client being physically present, the key information document may be made available after conclusion of the transaction if the client so consents. Financial service providers shall document said consent.
3 The information may be made available to clients in standardised form on paper or electronically.
