Entspricht ein Produkt den gesetzlichen Vorgaben, ergeben jedoch neue wissenschaftliche Erkenntnisse, dass das Produkt die Konsumentinnen und Konsumenten unmittelbar gefährdet, so kann die zuständige Bundesbehörde die Vollzugsbehörde anweisen, das Inverkehrbringen des Produkts sofort zu beschränken oder seine Rücknahme vom Markt zu verlangen.
If a product meets the statutory requirements but new scientific findings indicate that the product poses a direct risk to consumers, the competent federal authority may instruct the enforcement authority to immediately restrict the placing on the market of the product or demand its recall from the market.
