Art. 100

1 Die Bewilligungsinhaberin oder der Bewilligungsinhaber muss dafür sorgen, dass Strahlungsquellen:

a.
vor der ersten Anwendung einer Prüfung unterzogen werden;
b.
regelmässig überprüft und gewartet werden.

2 Absatz 1 gilt auch für dazugehörige medizinische Bildempfangssysteme, Bildwiedergabe- und Bilddokumentationsgeräte, nuklearmedizinische Untersuchungssysteme sowie Aktivimeter.

3 Das EDI kann im Einvernehmen mit dem ENSI den Mindestumfang und die Periodizität der Prüfung, den Mindestumfang des Qualitätssicherungsprogramms sowie die Anforderungen an die durchführenden Stellen festlegen. Es berücksichtigt dabei nationale und internationale Qualitätssicherungsnormen.

Art. 100

1 The licence holder must ensure that radiation sources:

a.
are subjected to testing prior to their first use;
b.
are regularly inspected and maintained.

2 Paragraph 1 also applies to associated medical image receptor systems, image display and image documentation equipment, nuclear medicine examination systems and activimeters.

3 The FDHA may, in consultation with ENSI, define the minimum scope and the periodicity of testing, the minimum scope of the quality assurance programme and the requirements for the implementing bodies. It shall take into account national and international quality assurance standards.
