1 Der Bundesrat sorgt für den Vollzug und erlässt die Ausführungsbestimmungen.
2 Er kann den Erlass von Vorschriften über den Strahlenschutz für Tätigkeiten, für die nach dem Kernenergiegesetz vom 21. März 200346 eine Bewilligung nötig ist, an das zuständige Departement oder an nachgeordnete Stellen übertragen. Er berücksichtigt dabei die Tragweite der Vorschriften.47
3 Er kann die Kantone zum Vollzug beiziehen.48

1 The Federal Council shall be responsible for enforcement and shall issue the implementing provisions.
2 It may delegate to the competent Department or subordinate bodies the task of issuing radiological protection regulations for activities requiring a licence under the Nuclear Energy Act of 21 March 200346. It shall take account of the scope of such regulations.47
3 It may involve the cantons for purposes of enforcement.48
