1 Abfälle dürfen nur auf Deponien abgelagert werden.
2 Wer eine Deponie errichten oder betreiben will, braucht eine Bewilligung des Kantons; sie wird ihm nur erteilt, wenn er nachweist, dass die Deponie nötig ist. In der Bewilligung werden die zur Ablagerung zugelassenen Abfälle umschrieben.
1 Waste may be deposited only in landfills.
2 Any person wishing to set up or operate a landfill requires authorisation from the relevant canton; this will be issued only if he furnishes proof that the site is necessary. The types of waste that may be deposited on the site are specified in the authorisation.
