Safeguards Ordinance of 4 June 2021 (SaO)
1 Wer an Orten ausserhalb von Anlagen Materialien nach Artikel 2 Absatz 1 Buchstabe a, die gemäss der Strahlenschutzverordnung vom 26. April 20178 einer Bewilligungspflicht des Bundesamtes für Gesundheit (BAG) unterliegen, besitzt oder den Bestand an solchen Materialien verändert, hat dem BFE die Menge, die physikalische Form, die chemische Zusammensetzung sowie den Lagerort und den Verwendungszweck zu melden. Das BAG teilt dem BFE die Bewilligungsinhaber mit.
2 Das BFE umschreibt nach Anhörung des BAG den Umfang, die Periodizität und die Form dieser Meldungen in einer Richtlinie.
3 Wer pro Quartal mehr als 1000 kg solcher Materialien ein- oder ausführt oder im Inland transportiert, hat dem BFE spätestens 30 Tage vor dem Transport die Menge, die physikalische Form, die chemische Zusammensetzung und den Verwendungszweck zu melden.
1 Any person who possesses materials specified in Article 2 paragraph 1 letter a that are subject to a Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) licence in accordance with the Radiological Protection Ordinance of 26 April 20178 at locations outside facilities or modifies the inventory of such materials shall notify the SFOE of their quantity, physical form, chemical composition, storage location and intended use. The FOPH shall notify the SFOE of the licence holders.
2 The SFOE shall, after consulting the FOPH, specify the extent, the frequency and form of these notifications in a guideline.
3 Any person who imports, exports or domestically transports more than 1000kg of such materials in any quarter shall notify the SFOE at the latest 30 days before the transport of the quantity, physical form and chemical composition of the material and the intended use.
