D. Reservation of other provisions of federal law

The registration of a business name does not relieve the persons entitled to use the same of the obligation to comply with other provisions of federal law, in particular on protection against deceit in business.

VI. Changement de nom

L’ancienne raison de commerce peut être maintenue si le nom du titulaire ou d’un associé y figurant a été changé de par la loi ou par décision de l’autorité compétente.
