¹ Subject to the same conditions and reservations as apply to the loss or destruction of goods, the carrier is liable for any damage resulting from late delivery, damage in transit or the partial destruction of the goods.

² Unless specifically agreed otherwise, the damages claimed may not exceed those for total loss.

Le voiturier, en exerçant les droits qui dérivent pour lui des soins à donner à la marchandise, sauvegarde de son mieux les intérêts du propriétaire; en cas de faute, il est passible de dommages-intérêts.
