III. Prescription and heirs’ right of action
1 Revocation may take place at any time in the year commencing on the day on which the grounds for revocation came to the donor’s attention.
2 If the donor dies before the end of this one-year period, his right of action passes to his heirs for the remainder of the period.
3 The donor’s heirs may revoke the gift if the recipient wilfully and unlawfully caused the donor’s death or prevented him from exercising his right of revocation.
III. Prescription et transfert de l’action aux héritiers
1 La révocation peut avoir lieu dans l’année à compter du jour où le donateur a eu connaissance de la cause de révocation.
2 Si le donateur décède avant l’expiration de l’année, son action passe à ses héritiers, qui peuvent l’intenter jusqu’à la fin de ce délai.
3 Les héritiers peuvent révoquer la donation lorsque le donataire, avec préméditation et d’une manière illicite, a causé la mort du donateur ou a empêché ce dernier d’exercer son droit de révocation.
