1 L’Ufficio federale della dogana e della sicurezza dei confini (UDSC) è autorizzato ad avvisare il titolare del brevetto qualora vi sia il sospetto dell’imminente introduzione nel territorio doganale svizzero o dell’imminente asportazione dal territorio doganale svizzero di merci che violano un brevetto valido in Svizzera.193
2 In tali casi, l’UDSC è autorizzato a trattenere le merci per tre giorni feriali, affinché la persona legittimata possa presentare una domanda secondo l’articolo 86b capoverso 1.

1 The Federal Office for Customs and Border Security is authorised to notify the proprietor of a patent that is valid in Switzerland if there is any suspicion that goods that infringe that patent may imminently be brought into or taken out of Swiss customs territory.194
2 In such cases, the Federal Office for Customs and Border Security is authorised to withhold the goods for three working days in order that the person entitled may file an application in accordance with Article 86b paragraph 1.
