1 Il Consiglio federale designa al suo interno un supplente per ogni membro.
2 Ciascun membro del Consiglio federale provvede affinché in caso di eventi imprevisti il suo supplente sia informato in modo rapido ed esaustivo degli affari importanti e delle decisioni da prendere.
3 Ciascun membro del Consiglio federale e il rispettivo supplente provvedono a una corretta trasmissione degli affari.

1 The Federal Council appoints a deputy for each Federal Councillor from among its members.
2 Each member of the Federal Council shall ensure that in the event of unforeseen incidents his or her deputy is notified quickly and comprehensively about important business and the issues to be decided.
3 Each member of the Federal Council and his or her deputy shall ensure the orderly handover of business.
