1 The National Bank shall provide compensation for a damaged note, provided that its series and number are recognisable and the holder presents a part that is larger than half or proves that the missing part of the note has been destroyed.
2 The National Bank shall not provide any compensation for destroyed, lost or counterfeit notes.
1 La Banca nazionale svizzera è tenuta a rimborsare il controvalore del biglietto danneggiato quando la serie cui appartiene e il numero possono essere riconosciuti e se il portatore ne presenta un frammento maggiore della metà oppure fornisce la prova che il resto del biglietto è stato distrutto.6
2 Essa non è tenuta a risarcimento alcuno per i biglietti distrutti, perduti o falsi.
