Art. 30a Avoidance
The Federal Council may:
- a.
- prohibit placing products intended for once-only, short-term use on the market if the benefits of such use do not justify the harm to the environment that they cause;
- b.
- prohibit the use of substances and organisms that considerably hamper disposal or the disposal of which may represent a danger to the environment;
- c.
- require manufacturers to avoid production waste where there is no known environmentally compatible process for its disposal.
Art. 30a Prevenzione
Il Consiglio federale può:
- a.
- vietare la messa in commercio di prodotti destinati ad essere impiegati una sola volta e per breve tempo, se i vantaggi del loro impiego non giustificano il carico che ne deriva per l’ambiente;
- b.
- vietare l’impiego di sostanze o di organismi che rendono lo smaltimento notevolmente più difficile o che, all’atto dello smaltimento, possono mettere in pericolo l’ambiente;
- c.
- obbligare i fabbricanti a prevenire la formazione di rifiuti di produzione per i quali non si conoscono metodi di smaltimento rispettosi dell’ambiente.
