1 If a concerned person becomes aware that archived documents contain information about him or her which he or she considers incorrect, he or she may have this noted but may not correct the data.
2 The note of objection must be submitted in writing to the body where the consultation of the documents took place. It must be marked as an objection with the place, date and signature of the person concerned.
3 The note of objection shall be added to the documents at the appropriate point.

1 Una persona interessata che viene a sapere che in documenti archiviati sono contenuti dati che la riguardano, da essa ritenuti inesatti, può segnalarne l’inesattezza ma non esigerne la rettifica.
2 La nota di contestazione dev’essere inoltrata per scritto al servizio presso il quale i documenti sono stati consultati. Dev’essere contrassegnata come contestazione e su di essa devono figurare il luogo, la data e la firma della persona interessata.
3 La nota di contestazione viene allegata ai documenti nel posto corrispondente.
