Art. 29 International filing of an application

Any person who designates Switzerland in an international filing of an industrial design will thereby obtain the protection of this Act as if the filing had taken place in Switzerland. Where the provisions of the Hague Agreement of 6 November 192512 Concerning the International Deposit of Industrial Designs are more favourable than the provisions of this Act for the proprietor of the international filing, the provisions of the Agreement will take precedence.

Art. 29 Dépôt international

Quiconque procède au dépôt international d’un dessin ou modèle industriel (design) désignant la Suisse bénéficie de la protection que la présente loi confère au titulaire d’un dépôt effectué en Suisse. Les dispositions de l’Arrangement de La Haye du 6 novembre 1925 concernant le dépôt international des dessins et modèles industriels12 priment celles de la présente loi si elles sont plus favorables au titulaire du dépôt international.
