1 The homeworker is obliged to treat the materials and tools supplied by the employer with all due care, to give account of how they are used and to return tools and unused materials to the employer.
2 Where in the course of his work the homeworker notes defects in the materials or tools supplied, he must inform the employer immediately and await further instructions before continuing work.
3 Where the materials or tools supplied have been damaged through the fault of the homeworker, he is liable to the employer at most for the replacement cost.
1 Le travailleur utilise avec soin le matériel et les instruments de travail que l’employeur lui a remis, lui rend compte de leur emploi et restitue le matériel non utilisé et les instruments de travail.
2 Si le travailleur constate, en cours de travail, que le matériel ou les instruments remis sont défectueux, il en informe immédiatement l’employeur et attend ses instructions avant de poursuivre le travail.
3 Si le travailleur a détérioré, par sa faute, le matériel ou les instruments qui lui ont été remis, il est responsable envers l’employeur au plus du montant des frais de remplacement.
