1 On application and on payment of a fee, the IPI shall register persons who fulfil the requirements of Article 2 in the Patent Attorney Register. It shall issue a certificate of registration.
2 The person making the application must prove by way of suitable documentation that he or she fulfils the requirements of Article 2.
3 The Federal Council may authorise the IPI to regulate electronic communication in accordance with the general provisions on the administration of federal justice.
4 The dossier and files may be maintained and stored in electronic form.
1 Das IGE trägt Personen, welche die Voraussetzungen nach Artikel 2 erfüllen, auf Antrag und gegen Bezahlung einer Gebühr in das Patentanwaltsregister ein. Es stellt über den Eintrag eine Bescheinigung aus.
2 Die antragstellende Person muss durch geeignete Unterlagen nachweisen, dass sie die Voraussetzungen nach Artikel 2 erfüllt.
3 Der Bundesrat kann das IGE ermächtigen, die elektronische Kommunikation im Rahmen der allgemeinen Bestimmungen der Bundesrechtspflege zu regeln.
4 Das Aktenheft und die Akten können in elektronischer Form geführt und aufbewahrt werden.
