Art. 141 Promotion of livestock breeding

1 The Confederation may promote the breeding of livestock which:

a.
is adapted to the natural conditions prevailing;
b.185
is healthy, productive and resistant; and
c.
leads to the market-orientated and low-cost production of high-quality meat products.

2 The promotion of livestock breeding should ensure high-quality independent animal husbandry.

Art. 141 Zuchtförderung

1 Der Bund kann die Zucht von Nutztieren fördern, die:

a.
den natürlichen Verhältnissen des Landes angepasst sind;
b.185
gesund, leistungs- und widerstandsfähig sind; und
c.
eine auf den Markt ausgerichtete und kostengünstige Erzeugung hochwertiger viehwirtschaftlicher Produkte ermöglichen.

2 Die Zuchtförderung soll eine hoch stehende eigenständige Zucht gewährleisten.
