1 It is Swissmedic’s responsibility to ensure that its information systems operate securely and that data are processed in accordance with legal requirements.
2 It shall draw up a set of processing rules for each information system. These shall specify the technical and organisational measures to be taken to ensure that the data are protected and secure.

2 Sie erstellt für jedes Informationssystem ein Bearbeitungsreglement. Sie legt darin die technischen und organisatorischen Massnahmen fest, mit denen die Sicherheit und der Schutz der bearbeiteten Daten sichergestellt werden.
