1 The Ethics Committee shall confirm receipt of the application to the sponsor within 10 days and notify the sponsor of any formal shortcomings in the application documents. It shall give the sponsor 10 days to rectify the shortcomings and inform the sponsor that it shall not admit the application if the shortcomings are not rectified within the deadline.
2 It shall make its decision within 40 days of confirming receipt of the formally correct application documents.
3 If the Ethics Committee demands additional information in accordance with Article 10 paragraph 2, the 40-day period shall be paused until the information is received.
1 Die Ethikkommission bestätigt dem Sponsor innerhalb von 10 Tagen den Eingang des Gesuchs und teilt ihm formale Mängel in den Gesuchsunterlagen mit. Sie setzt ihm eine Frist von 10 Tagen zur Behebung der Mängel und teilt ihm mit, dass sie auf das Gesuch nicht eintreten wird, wenn er es nicht fristgerecht ändert.
2 Sie entscheidet innerhalb von 40 Tagen nach der Bestätigung des Eingangs der formal korrekten Gesuchsunterlagen.
3 Verlangt die Ethikkommission zusätzliche Informationen nach Artikel 10 Absatz 2, so steht die Frist bis zu deren Eingang still.
