Art. 3 Registration

1 Data files (Art. 11a para. 3 DPA) must be registered with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (the Commissioner) before their operational use.6 The registration contains the following information:

a.
the name and address of the controller of the data file;
b.
the name and complete designation of the data file;
c.
the person against whom the right of access may be asserted;
d.
the purpose of the data file;
e.
the categories of personal data processed;
f.
the categories of data recipients;
g.
the categories of persons participating in the data file, i.e. third parties who are permitted to enter and modify data in the data file.

Art. 3 Anmeldung

1 Datensammlungen (Art. 11a Abs. 3 DSG) sind beim Eidgenössischen Datenschutz- und Öffentlichkeitsbeauftragten (Beauftragter) anzumelden, bevor die Datensammlung eröffnet wird.6 Die Anmeldung enthält folgende Angaben:

a.
Name und Adresse des Inhabers der Datensammlung;
b.
Name und vollständige Bezeichnung der Datensammlung;
c.
Person, bei welcher das Auskunftsrecht geltend gemacht werden kann;
d.
Zweck der Datensammlung;
e.
Kategorien der bearbeiteten Personendaten;
f.
Kategorien der Datenempfänger;
g.
Kategorien der an der Datensammlung Beteiligten, das heisst Dritte, die in die Datensammlung Daten eingeben und Änderungen an den Daten vornehmen dürfen.

2 Jeder Inhaber einer Datensammlung aktualisiert diese Angaben laufend. ...7
