Art. 72 Verantwortliche Behörde und Zweck

1 Das BAG führt ein zentrales Dosisregister.

2 Das Register hat zum Zweck, die während der gesamten Tätigkeit als beruflich strahlenexponierte Person ermittelte Dosis zu registrieren, um auf dieser Grundlage mögliche Versicherungsansprüche abzuklären.

3 Ausserdem ermöglicht das Register den Aufsichtsbehörden:

a.
eine jederzeitige Kontrolle der pro Überwachungsintervall akkumulierten Dosen jeder beruflich strahlenexponierten Person in der Schweiz;
b.
statistische Aussagen und die Evaluation der Wirksamkeit der Bestimmungen dieser Verordnung;
c.
die Sicherstellung der Aufbewahrung der Daten.

Art. 72 Responsible authority and purpose

1 The FOPH shall maintain a Central Dose Registry.

2 The purpose of the Registry is to record the doses determined throughout the period during which a person is occupationally exposed, in order to assess possible insurance claims on this basis.

3 In addition, the Registry enables the supervisory authorities:

a.
to review at any time the doses accumulated per monitoring period for each occupationally exposed person in Switzerland;
b.
to conduct statistical analyses and evaluate the effectiveness of the provisions of this Ordinance;
c.
to ensure data retention.
