1 Eine Fortbildung zielt auf das Wissen und die Kompetenzen ab, die bereits anlässlich einer Ausbildung erworben wurden. Die Fortbildung muss sicherstellen, dass die Kompetenzen, das Wissen und die Kenntnisse zum Stand der Technik und deren Umsetzung in die Praxis erhalten bleiben und aktualisiert werden.
2 Fortbildungspflichtige Personen müssen mindestens alle fünf Jahre eine Fortbildung absolvieren.
3 Das EDI kann im Einvernehmen mit dem ENSI und dem VBS unter Berücksichtigung des Gefährdungspotenzials:
1 Continuing education is concerned with the knowledge and skills already acquired in the course of training. Continuing education must ensure that skills, knowledge and awareness of the state of the art and its application in practice are maintained and brought up to date.
2 Persons subject to mandatory continuing education must undergo a course of continuing education at least every five years.
