Art. 12 Kanalisationsanschluss

¹ Der Anschluss von verschmutztem Abwasser an die öffentliche Kanalisation ausserhalb von Bauzonen (Art. 11 Abs. 2 Bst. c GSchG) ist:

a.: zweckmässig, wenn er sich einwandfrei und mit normalem baulichem Aufwand herstellen lässt;
b.: zumutbar, wenn die Kosten des Anschlusses diejenigen für vergleichbare Anschlüsse innerhalb der Bauzone nicht wesentlich überschreiten.

² Die Behörde darf neue Zuleitungen von nicht verschmutztem Abwasser, das stetig anfällt, in eine zentrale Abwasserreinigungsanlage nur bewilligen (Art. 12 Abs. 3 GSchG), wenn die örtlichen Verhältnisse die Versickerung oder die Einleitung in ein Gewässer nicht erlauben.

³ Der Rindvieh- und Schweinebestand eines Landwirtschaftsbetriebes ist für die Befreiung vom Kanalisationsanschluss (Art. 12 Abs. 4 GSchG) erheblich, wenn er mindestens acht Düngergrossvieheinheiten umfasst.

Art. 12 Connection to sewers

¹ The discharge of polluted waste water into public sewers outside building zones (Art. 11 para. 2 let. c WPA) is:

a.: expedient if the connection may be constructed properly and with standard building expenditure;
b.: reasonable if the costs of the connection do not substantially exceed those for comparable connections within the building zone.

² The authorities may only authorise new discharges of permanent flows of non-polluted waste water into a central waste water treatment plant (Art. 12 para. 3 WPA) if local conditions do not permit infiltration or discharge into a body of water

³ In order for a farm to qualify for exemption from the bond to be connected to the public sewers (Art 12 para. 4 WPA), its cattle and pig stock must comprise at least eight livestock units.
