1 Die Kantone informieren das Bundesamt für Umwelt (BAFU) periodisch in Form einer Übersicht über die auf ihrem Gebiet vorhandenen Gefahrenpotentiale und Risiken (Risikokataster) sowie über die getroffenen Massnahmen.53
2 Zu diesem Zweck stellen ihnen die zuständigen Stellen des Bundes und der Kantone auf Anfrage die erforderlichen Angaben zur Verfügung.
3 Vorbehalten bleiben die gesetzlichen Geheimhaltungspflichten.

1 The cantons shall periodically provide the Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN) with information in the form of an overview of the hazard potentials and risks within their territory (risk register), together with the measures implemented.53
2 To this end, the competent federal and cantonal authorities shall make the necessary information available on request.
