1 Das BAG kontrolliert, ob die Vorschriften dieses Gesetzes eingehalten werden. Es führt dazu insbesondere periodische Inspektionen durch.
2 Es kann unentgeltlich die dazu notwendigen Proben erheben, die erforderlichen Auskünfte oder Unterlagen verlangen und jede andere erforderliche Unterstützung anfordern. Es kann die Zollorgane mit der Erhebung von Probenmaterial beauftragen.
3 Es kann zur Erfüllung seiner Aufgaben Grundstücke, Betriebe und Räume betreten sowie Fahrzeuge durchsuchen.
1 The Federal Office shall monitor compliance with the provisions of this Act. In particular it shall carry out periodic inspections to this end.
2 It may, free of charge, take the necessary samples, request the necessary information or documents and request any other assistance required. It may instruct the customs authorities to obtain samples.
3 It may enter sites, establishments and premises and search vehicles in pursuit of its duties.
