1 Sind Organe, Gewebe oder Zellen zu anderen Zwecken als der Transplantation entnommen worden, so dürfen sie nur gelagert, transplantiert oder zur Herstellung von Transplantatprodukten verwendet werden, wenn die Vorschriften über die Information und Zustimmung nach den Artikeln 8, 12 Buchstabe b, 13 Absatz 2 Buchstaben f und g, 39 Absatz 2 sowie 40 Absatz 2 eingehalten worden sind.
2 Die Vorschriften über die Information und Zustimmung nach Absatz 1 gelten auch für den Umgang mit Blut-Stammzellen aus Nabelschnurblut.
1 If organs, tissues or cells have been removed for purposes other than transplantation, they may only be stored, transplanted or used to obtain transplant products if the regulations concerning information and consent contained in Articles 8, 12 letter b, 13 paragraph 2 letter f and g, 39 paragraph 2 and 40 paragraph 2 have been complied with.
2 The regulations concerning information and consent in paragraph 1 also apply to the handling of blood stems obtained from umbilical cord blood.
