1 Wer eine Imprägnation oder eine Weiterentwicklung zum Embryo mit Keimgut bewirkt, das einem Embryo oder einem Fötus entnommen wurde, wird mit Freiheitsstrafe bis zu drei Jahren oder Geldstrafe bestraft.
2 Wer menschliches Keimgut oder Erzeugnisse aus Embryonen oder Föten entgeltlich veräussert oder erwirbt, wird mit Freiheitsstrafe bis zu drei Jahren oder Geldstrafe bestraft.
3 Handelt die Täterin oder der Täter gewerbsmässig, so ist die Strafe Freiheitsstrafe bis zu drei Jahre oder Geldstrafe. Mit der Freiheitsstrafe ist eine Geldstrafe zu verbinden.

1 Any person who uses reproductive material obtained from an embryo or foetus to bring about impregnation or further development into an embryo shall be liable to a custodial sentence not exceeding three years or to a monetary penalty.
2 Any person who purchases or sells human reproductive material or products derived from embryos or foetuses shall be liable to custodial sentence not exceeding three years or to a monetary penalty.
3 If the offender acts in a professional capacity, the penalty shall be a custodial sentence not exceeding three years or to a monetary penalty. A custodial sentence must be combined with a monetary penalty
