Hat der Verfolgte ein Asylgesuch im Sinne des Asylgesetzes vom 26. Juni 1998100 gestellt, so ziehen das Bundesamt und die Rechtsmittelinstanzen für den Auslieferungsentscheid die Akten aus dem Asylverfahren bei.

If the defendant has applied for asylum under the Asylum Act of 26 June 1998100, the Federal Office and the appellate authority shall consult the files from the asylum proceedings when deciding on extradition.
