1 Der Bund kann Aufklärungs‑, Erziehungs- und weitere Massnahmen ergreifen, die darauf hinzielen, Straftaten zu verhindern und der Kriminalität vorzubeugen.
2 Er kann Projekte unterstützen, die das unter Absatz 1 erwähnte Ziel haben.
3 Er kann sich an Organisationen beteiligen, welche Massnahmen im Sinne von Absatz 1 durchführen oder derartige Organisationen schaffen und unterstützen.
4 Der Bundesrat regelt Inhalt, Ziele und Art der Präventionsmassnahmen.

1 The Confederation may employ investigative, educational and further measures aimed at preventing specific offences and crime in general.
2 It may support projects that have the aim mentioned in paragraph 1.
