1 Der Bundesrat bestellt die Wettbewerbskommission und bezeichnet die Mitglieder des Präsidiums.24
2 Die Wettbewerbskommission besteht aus 11–15 Mitgliedern. Die Mehrheit der Mitglieder müssen unabhängige Sachverständige sein.
2bis Die Mitglieder der Wettbewerbskommission legen ihre Interessen in einem Interessenbindungsregister offen.25
3 Die Wettbewerbskommission trifft die Entscheide und erlässt die Verfügungen, die nicht ausdrücklich einer anderen Behörde vorbehalten sind. Sie gibt Empfehlungen (Art. 45 Abs. 2) und Stellungnahmen (Art. 46 Abs. 2) an die politischen Behörden ab und erstattet Gutachten (Art. 47 Abs. 1).

1 The Federal Council appoints the Competition Commission and designates the members of the presiding body.24
2 The Competition Commission comprises between eleven and fifteen members, the majority of whom are independent experts.
2bis The members of the Competition Commission disclose their interests in a register of interests. 25
3 The Competition Commission takes the decisions and issues the rulings that are not expressly reserved to another authority. It submits recommendations (Art. 45, para. 2) and opinions (Art. 46 para. 2) to the political authorities and prepares expert reports (Art. 47 para. 1).
