Art. 157 Deliberaziun communabla

1 Il Cussegl naziunal ed il Cussegl dals chantuns delibereschan communablamain sco Assamblea federala plenara sut la direcziun da la presidenta u dal president dal Cussegl naziunal per:

a.
far elecziuns;
b.
decider davart conflicts da cumpetenza tranter las autoritads supremas da la Confederaziun;
c.
pronunziar grazias.

2 L’Assamblea federala plenara sa raduna ultra da quai per d’occasiuns spezialas e per prender enconuschientscha da decleraziuns dal Cussegl federal.

Art. 157 Joint proceedings

1 The National Council and Council of States hold joint proceedings as the United Federal Assembly under the presidency of the President of the National Council in order to:

a.
conduct elections;
b.
decide on conflicts of jurisdiction between the highest federal authorities;
c.
decide on applications for pardons.

2 The United Federal Assembly also convenes for special events and to hear declarations made by the Federal Council.
