Art. 38 Diversità biologica della foresta

1 La Confederazione accorda ai Cantoni, sulla base di accordi di programma, aiuti finanziari globali per provvedimenti che contribuiscono a conservare e a migliorare la diversità biologica della foresta, segnatamente per:48

a.
la protezione e la manutenzione delle riserve forestali e di altri spazi vitali della foresta importanti dal profilo ecologico;
b.49
la promozione della diversità delle specie e della diversità genetica nella foresta;
c.
il collegamento di spazi vitali della foresta;
d.
la conservazione di gestioni forestali tradizionali.

3 L’ammontare degli aiuti finanziari è determinato in base all’importanza dei provvedimenti per la diversità biologica e alla loro efficacia.

Art. 38 Biological diversity of the forest

1 The Confederation shall provide financial assistance for measures that contribute to the conservation and improvement of biological diversity in the forest, in particular for:42

a.
the protection and maintenance of forest reserves and other ecologically valuable forest habitats;
b.43
the fostering of biodiversity and genetic diversity of the forest;
c.
the connectivity of forest habitats;
d.
the conservation of traditional forms of forest management;

3 The level of the financial assistance is based on the significance of the measures in relation to biological diversity and the effectiveness of the measures.
