1 La Confederazione emana prescrizioni in materia di trapianto di organi, tessuti e cellule. Provvede in tale ambito alla protezione della dignità umana, della personalità e della salute.
2 Stabilisce in particolare criteri affinché l’attribuzione degli organi sia equa.
3 La donazione di organi, tessuti e cellule umane è gratuita. Il commercio di organi umani è vietato.

1 The Confederation shall legislate in the field of organ, tissue and cell transplants. In doing so, it shall ensure the protection of human dignity, privacy and health.
2 It shall in particular lay down criteria for the fair allocation of organs.
3 Any donation of human organs, tissue and cells must be free of charge. The trade in human organs is prohibited.
