1 La Confédération exécute la présente loi. Le Conseil fédéral édicte les dispositions d’exécution.
2 Le Conseil fédéral peut déléguer certaines tâches d’exécution découlant de la présente loi aux cantons, dans la mesure où elles ne leur sont pas déjà attribuées en vertu d’autres lois fédérales régissant notamment l’utilisation des objets et produits.
3 Le Conseil fédéral peut également confier certaines tâches d’exécution à des organisations ou à des personnes morales de droit public ou privé.
4 Les frais résultant des mesures prises par les autorités pour prévenir un danger ou une atteinte imminents, pour en déterminer l’existence ou pour y remédier sont mis à la charge de la personne qui en est la cause.
1 The Confederation enforces this Act. The Federal Council enacts implementing regulations.
2 The Federal Council may delegate certain enforcement tasks under this Act to the cantons insofar as these tasks have not already been allocated to them under other federal acts, relating in particular to the handling of articles and products.
3 The Federal Council may also pass on certain enforcement tasks to organisations and persons under public or private law.
4 The costs of measures that the authorities take to avert immediate hazards or harm, and the costs incurred in determining and remediating the same are passed on to the perpetrator.
