1 Chaque commune fournit annuellement à l’Office fédéral de la statistique (OFS) les données relatives à ses habitants, arrêtées au 31 décembre, au plus tard jusqu’au 31 janvier de l’année suivante et tient à jour les indications figurant dans le Registre fédéral des bâtiments et des logements (RegBL), conformément à l’art. 10, al. 1, de l’ordonnance du 9 juin 2017 sur le Registre des bâtiments et des logements2.3
2 Dans les cantons qui possèdent un registre reconnu des bâtiments et des logements, la commune peut en outre communiquer au canton les données relatives à ses habitants afin de permettre l’identification automatique des résidences principales dans le registre cantonal des bâtiments et des logements.

1 Each commune shall supply the Swiss Federal Statistical Office (FSO) each year with its data on residents as of 31 December by 31 January of the following year at the latest and shall update the National Register of Buildings and Dwellings (RBD) in accordance with Article 10 paragraph 1 of the Ordinance of 9 June 20172 on the Federal Register of Buildings and Dwellings.3
2 In cantons with recognised registers of buildings and dwellings, the commune may also make its data on residents available to the canton to enable the automated identification of principal homes in the cantonal register of buildings and dwellings.
