1 Les échanges d’informations relevant de la police criminelle s’effectuent conformément aux principes de la loi du 20 mars 1981 sur l’entraide pénale internationale464 et conformément aux statuts et aux règlements d’INTERPOL que le Conseil fédéral aura déclarés applicables.
2 La loi fédérale du 19 juin 1992 sur la protection des données465 régit les échanges d’informations opérés en vue de rechercher des personnes disparues et d’identifier des inconnus de même que ceux qui sont effectués à des fins administratives.
3 L’Office fédéral de la police peut transmettre des informations directement aux bureaux centraux nationaux d’autres pays si l’État destinataire est soumis aux prescriptions d’INTERPOL en matière de protection des données.
1 The exchange of police information is governed by the principles of the Mutual Assistance Act of 20 March 1981460 as well as the Constitution and General Regulations of INTERPOL declared to be applicable by the Federal Council.
2 The Federal Act of 19 June 1992461 on Data Protection applies to the exchange of information in connection with searches for missing persons and the identification of unknown persons and for administrative purposes.
3 The Federal Office may provide information directly to the Central Bureaus of other states provided the recipient state is subject to the INTERPOL data protection regulations.
