1 La Confédération fixe les principes applicables à l’aménagement du territoire. Celui-ci incombe aux cantons et sert une utilisation judicieuse et mesurée du sol et une occupation rationnelle du territoire.
2 La Confédération encourage et coordonne les efforts des cantons et collabore avec eux.
3 Dans l’accomplissement de leurs tâches, la Confédération et les cantons prennent en considération les impératifs de l’aménagement du territoire.
1 The Confederation shall lay down principles on spatial planning. These principles are binding on the Cantons and serve to ensure the appropriate and economic use of the land and its properly ordered settlement.
2 The Confederation shall encourage and coordinate the efforts of the Cantons and shall cooperate with them.
3 Confederation and Cantons shall take account of the requirements of spatial planning in fulfilling their duties.
