1 The SRG SSR and the undertakings controlled by it shall conduct their financial accounting in accordance with the recognised principles of best practice. They shall conduct themselves cost-effectively, use their resources in accordance with the provisions and ensure the long-term maintenance of their assets with regard to the fulfilment of their mandate.
2 The SRG SSR shall use the share of fees36 allocated to it solely to cover the costs resulting from the broadcasting of radio and television programme services and the costs of the other journalistic services (Art. 25 para. 3 let. b).
3 If it ceases to carry out an activity that was a major element when the fees were set, DETEC may require SRG SSR to build up reserves in the amount of the corresponding sum, which will be taken into account during the subsequent fee adjustment.37
4 The Federal Council shall ensure that the provisions of Article 6a paragraphs 1–5 of the Federal Personnel Act of 24 March 200038 are applied accordingly in the SRG SSR and in the undertakings controlled by it for the members of the managing bodies, members of management staff and other personnel who are remunerated in a similar way.

1 La SSR e le aziende di cui essa detiene il controllo gestiscono le loro finanze secondo i principi riconosciuti della miglior prassi. Esse operano secondo criteri economici, impiegano i mezzi finanziari in modo conforme alle prescrizioni e provvedono a mantenere a lungo termine la sostanza dell’azienda, in funzione dell’adempimento del loro mandato.
2 La SSR impiega la sua quota di canone esclusivamente per sopperire all’onere derivante dall’emittenza inerente ai programmi radiotelevisivi e all’ulteriore offerta editoriale (art. 25 cpv. 3 lett. b).
3 Se la SSR rinuncia a un’attività che ha avuto un’importanza considerevole nella determinazione del canone, il DATEC può obbligarla a costituire riserve per un importo corrispondente, di cui va tenuto conto nel successivo adattamento del canone.
4 Il Consiglio federale provvede affinché, nella SSR e nelle aziende di cui essa detiene il controllo, ai membri degli organi direttivi, ai quadri dirigenti nonché all’altro personale con retribuzione analoga si applichino per analogia le disposizioni dell’articolo 6a capoversi 1–5 della legge del 24 marzo 200036 sul personale federale.
