Art. 42b Transitional provision to the Amendment of 28 September 2018

1 Persons in possession of a firearm in accordance with Article 5 paragraph 1 letters b–d when the Amendment of 28 September 2018 to this Act comes into force must notify the competent authorities in their canton of residence of their lawful possession of the weapon within three years.

2 Notification is not required if the firearm is already registered in a cantonal information system on the acquisition of firearms in accordance with Article 32a paragraph 2.

Art. 42b Disposizione transitoria della modifica del 28 settembre 2018

1 Chiunque all’entrata in vigore della modifica del 28 settembre 2018 della presente legge è in possesso di un’arma da fuoco secondo l’articolo 5 capoverso 1 lettere b–d deve, entro tre anni, notificarne il legittimo possesso all’autorità competente del proprio Cantone di domicilio.

2 La notifica non è necessaria se l’arma da fuoco è già registrata in un sistema d’informazione cantonale sull’acquisto di armi da fuoco di cui all’articolo 32a capoverso 2.

179 Introdotto dall’all. del DF del 28 set. 2018 che approva e traspone nel diritto svizzero lo scambio di note tra la Svizzera e l’UE concernente il recepimento della direttiva (UE) 2017/853 che modifica la direttiva UE sulle armi, in vigore dal 15 ago. 2019 (RU 2019 2415; FF 2018 1555).
